In the first lesson we have learnt that music videos first emerged from the introduction of MTV (Music Television) in 1981 and debuted The Buggles "Video killed the radio star" a very ironic title.
Hello there and welcome to my A2 media blog The brief for the A2 course is: to form a group of two/three and produce a music video as the main product along with two ancillary texts: a digipak cover for the music video and a magazine advert for the digipak. We will also need to do research for the band we choose to do along with music videos from the same genre. We also need to research the typical codes and conventions for a music video. Feel free to leave any feedback on any of my posts Thanks

RS - June 2011: A2 coursework begins!
This week we have begun work on A2 media and this year we are studying Music videos. We have only had two lessons so far so not a vast ammount of detail has been gone into however we have come away with a few early codes and conventions of a music video
In the first lesson we have learnt that music videos first emerged from the introduction of MTV (Music Television) in 1981 and debuted The Buggles "Video killed the radio star" a very ironic title.
